Are these alarms easy to

Yes! Just flip the switches on both the receiver and transmitter, and you
are set to go. When you arrive home again, just turn them to off to
preserve battery power.
Is the alarm loud enough to be heard?

Yes. The warning beeps that indicate that the distance has been breached
is a loud 60 decibels. The alarm sounding when button is pushed is over
100 decibels! Any thief will definitely feel like a deer in the headlights
with this warning sound!
How does the auto alarm work?

With the anti theft model, there is a setting for auto alarm. This is set
just like a car alarm. Place the device in your briefcase, purse, or
luggage. Then use the remote transmitter to set the alarm. If the item is
even slightly moved or opened, the alarm will sound. It may be disarmed
with the remote as well.
What items can I use the alarms on?

The anti loss model can be put on pretty much anything that you don't want
to lose. The transmitter is as small as a few quarters stacked up, and can
be placed in a purse, wallet, on a child, on a camera, a cell phone, an
MP3/MP4 player, a pet collar, a video camera, or even your car keys. This
device is very small and compact. The anti theft model is a little bigger,
about the size of a cell phone. It has to be bigger to fit the battery
power and siren equipment that makes it so successful in deterring
thieves. This model is recommended for items that you do not want thieves
to get a way with, such as purses, handbags, briefcases, or luggage.
Is there an advantage of one model over the other?

It just depends on what purpose you are using it for. If you have a habit
of leaving items behind, or if you have children who like to run off when
you are not looking, the anti loss model is great. It will warn you that
the item has left your immediate location. If you are looking for a thief
deterrent, the anti theft model has the advantage of the siren that will
alert the general public to a situation. Both models will help you locate
the item holding the transmitter, and both models give warning if the set
distance has been breached.
